Life together
| • Our calling We are called to a life of exploration and searching for God. Our commitment to one another in community and our vows of poverty, celibate chastity and obedience set us free to respond whole heartedly to this quest. |
• Our worship Our life together is centered on the daily Eucharist and Office. It has been enriched by priesthood within community, bringing with it a radical awareness of con-celebrating the Eucharist together. From this breaking |
of the bread, our ministry reaches out into our
broken world. We also set aside at least one-and-a-half hours each day for personal prayer, reflection and spiritual reading, searching for the stillness of God in the midst of the noise and pollution of the inner city. Local people and guests are always welcome to share our worship together. Our day begins at 7.15am with Morning Prayer and the Eucharist. At 12.45 we gather together for the Midday Office and again at 5pm for Evening Prayer, ending at 8.30pm with Night Prayer. |
• Our ministry This is based mostly in the local community, where our priority is in recognising God in our neighbour and seeking to respond to some of the needs of the marginalised and forgotten in deprived areas. |
